Welcome to Kenneth Wadd Glover’s blog. Ken passed away on November 30, 2018. You can read his self-written obituary here. Per his wishes, his granddaughter, Christine, is currently keeping his blog active. If you have memories of Ken, she would love to hear from you.
Ken started this blog in 2015 by posting fifty “Memory” chapters that together form his auto-biography. He went on to write thirty “Character” chapters describing interesting people he met throughout his life and five “Uncommon Place” chapters about notable places he visited in his life. There are also several posts that fall under the “Other” category. You will find a tab for each of these sections in the toolbar at the top of the blog. Once there, the posts will be listed in chronological order.
He was hopeful you would be interested enough to plow through all of the chapters and learn about his meager upbringing, his fortunate education, his 67 years of marriage to Doris, his employment with five companies and his latest phase of life, moving into an assisted living facility. Happy Reading.
In 2015, Ken also wrote a small, illustrated book called Timely Actions: A Guide to a Better Life and Retirement. You can read more about it by clicking on “Timely Actions” in the toolbar at the top of the page. You can purchase it on Amazon or directly from the Friesen Press Bookstore.
